 | Internet2 is a technological priority of the government, says FHCCongresso Nacional Online 09.25.2000 President Fernando Henrique Cardoso stated recently, during a solemnity at the Planalto Palace, that the major concern of the government in the science and technology sector is the deployment of Internet2 in Brazil. The president affirmed that the development of the science and technology sector is directly linked to the application of resources that the government has arranged through FUST (Universal Telecommunications Fund).
